Will The New Canon T2I Be A Hit?

So Canon reveals it's new DSLR Camera the Canon T2i on February 24th in the States, and I don't know about you but I'm excited. If you were like me and wanted a Canon Mark II 5D but couldn't afford it and then was very anxious for the arrival of the 7d, but still couldn't afford that and just bought a Canon T1i, you are going to kick yourself.

The Canon 5D and 7D are amazing photography camera's, but they are not only used for photography. If you too share a love for creating video's as well as amazing pictures those camera's are pretty much ideal. The Canon T1i has amazing video quality as well, and I've done some really cool things with it, but it's not quite as good compared to the 7 or 5D. The 7 and 5D camera's are used in Hollywood movies and commercials. No, I'm not just making crap up, the quality is impeccable. When I was working on the set of a Honey Bunches of Oats Commercial they had a 7D operator!

The Canon T2i will have the same video quality as the Canon 7D and HALF THE PRICE! Basically the T2i and the 7d has the same size sensor. One of the great things to me is that this camera has an External Mic output, where as the T1i doesn't. The 7d will still be the better still camera, but the T2i will have nearly the same video quality, and it will cost less to record video's because it records on SDHC cards.

This camera will be sold for $799 starting on Feb 24th.
